DK Events Sound & Lighting was founded by Werner Scholtz in April 2014 on the principles of great music, world class service and utmost reliability.

In 2018, Werner added Gerhard van Zyl, and injected the company with fresh new ideas and it took DK Events to a brand new standard, making DK Events Sound & Lighting the most feared competitor in the industry.

DK Events will always be owner-managed, as I believe this has been our reason for success from the day I started DK Events and is certainly the element that gives us the edge.
